We’ve all had the chipping yips let’s be honest. They suck. You feel embarrassed, frustrated, confused, and sometimes wish you could just walk right off the golf course.

The Acer XK Chipper combines the loft of an 8-iron with the weight and lie of a putter. The ultrawide contoured sole glides across either the rough or the close cropped apron surrounding the green. Gooseneck, over-the-hosel design increases the effective face area and eliminates the possibility of shanking the ball like with an iron.

According to rule 3 b(i), all grips on your clubs except the grip on your putter must be circular. It is therefore not permitted to play with a putter grip on your wedges, for example. Our cure for the chip-yips is simply to put a grip from Jumbomax on a Chipper. This results in a club that gives incredible control over the clubhead. The thicker grip combined with the mallet head on the Chipper is unbeatable when it comes to accuracy. This combination allows you to hit the ball with the same kind of pendulum motion you use when hitting a putt. The feel of the grip is also very similar to the feel of a putter grip.
